About Rovin Jay

 For over 20 years, Rovin has created the conditions where performers can do the best work of their lives, and where audiences feel something they didn't expect to feel.


This has led him from intimate stages in Southern California to immersive worlds at Knott's Berry Farm, where he helped bring Ghost Town Alive! to life, a story-first experience. From August Wilson plays and rock musicals, to haunted carnivals inhabited by murderous clowns, to facilitating Disneyland guest performances and workshops, the through-line in all of it is the same: a deep belief that story, told through truthful performance, is the most powerful thing a room full of people can share.


Rovin holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Cal State Fullerton and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He currently serves on the board at the Long Beach Playhouse.
